Jermine is a London & Milan based Art Director. She specialises in 360* visual communication and image making. Her creative approach is influenced by a keen sensitivity and curiosity for the world, adopting a humanistic viewpoint on visual culture. Nurtured as an Art Director in various forms of visual experiences and image creation, Jermine has successfully art directed editorials and commercial projects spanning across art, film, design, and fashion. Working alongside photographers, directors and other creatives - her process places emphasis on thorough research, immersive experiences, and execution.

‘Word of Mouth’ is a series that features 9 individuals given the same set of random yet curated words. they are to share the first word that comes to mind. Filmed from both the back and front, ‘Word of Mouth’ juxtaposes and studies one’s body language with one’s facial expressions. 

Initially inspired by the game, chinese whispers. ‘Word of Mouth’ explores the power of language and how words have differing associations to each individual. It has developed into both a talent-participatory and audience-viewing experience. 

A diverse range of individuals from different age groups and walks of life voluntarily participated in the project. Some came and left, feeling more comfortable than others. ‘Word of Mouth’ aims to explore the nature of how people react and interact with the spaces and words they are placed in/with and how that reflects today’s zeigeist.
